Dear Plant Lovers,

We’re excited to introduce our Plant of the Month for October — the 10” Majesty Palm.

With graceful, feathery fronds and an upright, architectural form, the Majesty Palm is one of our top sellers at Andersen Farms. Each 10” pot features multiple trunks that create a full, elegant silhouette—perfect for adding height, movement, and a calming tropical vibe to any room. Our current Majesty Palms are ranging from 4’–6’ tall.

Care is simple and rewarding: Place in bright, indirect light (gentle morning sun is fine), keep soil evenly moist but never soggy, and boost humidity with regular misting or a pebble tray. Feed monthly during the growing season and rotate every few weeks for even, symmetrical growth.

Style tip: Pair your palm with a neutral woven basket or a sleek ceramic cover pot. For an elevated look, cluster it with shorter, broad-leaf companions to create a layered indoor oasis. Prebooking is now available for Spring 2026.

Plant of the Month

10” Majesty Palm (Ravenea rivularis)

Native to the river valleys of Madagascar, the 10” Majesty Palm thrives in warm, humid conditions with bright, indirect light—ideal for bringing resort-style greenery indoors. In 10” pots, it creates a tall, architectural accent for bright corners and near sheer-curtained windows.

Known for elegant, feather-like fronds, the Majesty Palm forms a lush, upright canopy of finely divided leaflets that sway softly with movement. Fronds stay freshest with consistent moisture (never waterlogged) and excellent drainage, while higher humidity helps prevent browning tips.

Rotate the pot every few weeks for symmetry, wipe fronds to remove dust, and mist or use a pebble tray to boost humidity—simple care that delivers year-round, oasis-like impact.

Did You Know?

Trivia of the Month: The 10” Ponytail “Palm” is not a true palm—it’s a succulent. Its bulbous base stores water, making it drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, while its curly leaves add a fun tropical flair.
