Plants of the Month

6” Calathea (Assorted)

Currently available in: Peacock, Silver Plate, Zebrina, Rufibarba, Lancifolia, Setosa, White Star, Medallion, and more. Native to tropical South America, Calatheas thrive in warm environments with indirect light—perfect for brightening indoor spaces.

Signature trait: Calatheas gently move their leaves in response to light—often folding up at night and opening again in the day, which is why they’re sometimes called “prayer plants.”

Quick care: Bright/medium indirect light • Keep lightly moist (never soggy) • Higher humidity helps • Avoid harsh direct sun.

10” Calathea (Assorted)

Currently available: Medallion, Peacock, Rufibarba, Setosa, Warscewiczii, Zebrina, Wheat and more. Larger Calatheas create an instant tropical focal point with broad, patterned leaves and rich color variation.

Bonus: Calatheas are non-toxic and pet-friendly, making them a beautiful option for homes, offices, and reception areas.

Varieties of the Month

Alocasia Portora

Bold, architectural leaves and upright growth—adds tropical drama and height to interiors with bright, indirect light.

Ficus Burgundy

Deep burgundy-toned, glossy leaves with a strong modern look. A stylish statement plant that also supports cleaner indoor air.

Alocasia Calidora

Massive heart-shaped foliage and lush form—prefers bright, indirect light and consistent moisture for an exotic “Elephant Ear” presence.

Ficus Lyrata

The classic Fiddle Leaf Fig—large violin-shaped leaves and upright growth, best in bright indirect light for a strong architectural impact.

Trivia of the Month: White Bird is sometimes called the “giant bird of paradise” because its blooms resemble a white bird in flight— and it’s closely related to the banana plant, which is why it has those lush, tropical leaves.
